Dr Michael C Paterson BSc PhD DClinPsych CClinPsychol AFBPsS Consultant Clinical Psychologist
	I received a BSc with first class honours, in Psychology, from the University of Ulster in 1987, and gained clinical experience with clients of all ages and a diverse range of problems, both within the voluntary and statutory sectors.  Now a Consultant Clinical Psychologist, I hold two doctoral degrees, in Psychology, from the Queen's University of Belfast.

I am trained in a range of psychological therapies and have particular expertise in the use of Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). I hold the honours of EMDR Europe Approved Consultant and EMDR Institute Facilitator.  More recently I was awarded the distinction of EMDR Europe Approved Trainer.
